Celebrating Talent, Resilience, and Community Spirit
Thank You to All Players, Coaches, Referees, and Volunteers for an Incredible Tournament!
Zwaanswyk Academy and High School, 27th to 29th September 2024
Despite the challenging weather conditions, rain, wind, and cold, the recent Junior Interprovincial Touch Tournament (JIPT 2024) held at Zwaanswyk Academy and High School in Cape Town proved to be a resounding success.
Border, Gauteng, Western Province, Eastern Gauteng, South West Districts Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal sent a collective 47 teams to participate in an event that showcased the incredible resilience, dedication, and skill of our future touch stars, as well as the unwavering support from coaches, referees, volunteers, and the community.
To all the players—your fast-paced and exciting matches kept the energy high despite the cold. We saw heart, determination, and sportsmanship on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder. You’ve shown us that the future of South African touch is bright!
Congratulations ETA, our overall winners with a score of 63, followed by WPTA with 60, and WCTA with 57.
We are incredibly proud of every participant and look forward to seeing what next year brings!
