Meet the Touchboks:

South Africa's Elite National Touch Team

The Touchboks represent the pinnacle of touch rugby talent in South Africa. Players are selected through performances at Interprovincial Tournaments (IPTs) and are invited to national selection and training camps leading up to World Cup years.
This year, the Touchboks showcased their exceptional skill and dedication at the FIT World Cup 2024 in Nottingham, England, where our Women's 27, Women's 35, and Men's 35 teams each brought home bronze medals.
As ambassadors of South African touch, the Touchboks continue to inspire with their passion and prowess on the field. Their journey is far from over, with more thrilling matches and tournaments on the horizon. Stay tuned and follow the Touchboks as they prepare to take the touch rugby world by storm once again.

Quick World Cup synopsis and key  results

The 2024 Touch World Cup was the largest tournament in the sport’s history, featuring approximately 190 teams from over 40 nations across the globe. South Africa entered 8 Touchbok teams across the different divisions winning 3 bronze medals and gaining significant experience for Touch World Cup 2028 in New Zealand
